Employment Positions Available

DIRECT SUPPORT CARE/CAREGIVERS

(Full or Part-time or Floater; 6am–9:30am (Mon-Fri); 7am-3pm, Sat/Sun; 3pm-11pm, Sat/Sun; overnights, Sat/Sun)

And other shifts as needed.Assist residents to succeed in a residential home by teaching them personal living skills, and joining them in group activities. Comfortable with all aspects of adult hygiene. Must have ability to drive 8-passenger van. Additional requirements for this position are: pass a criminal background check. Have access to a car and an acceptable driving record.  Driving at least 3 years in the US.

DAY PROGRAM INSTRUCTOR

(Full or Part-time; Monday-Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm)

Position involves instructing, training, and supervising the consumers on site and in community-based activities.  Additional requirements for this position are: pass a criminal background check and have access to a car with acceptable driving record.  Driving at least 3 years in the US.

COMMUNITY SERVICES INSTRUCTOR

(Full or Part-time; Monday-Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm)

Provides instruction, coaching, assistance, support, and advocacy to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities that are transitioning from the Work Services program into volunteer settings and inclusive community activities.  Additional requirements for this position are: pass a criminal background check and have access to a car with acceptable driving record. Driving at least 3 years in the US.

MMDP – MONARCH MOBILE DAY PROGRAM INSTRUCTOR

(Part-time openings; Monday-Friday flex, anywhere between 9:00am–4:00pm)

You will assist adults with developmental disabilities with basic self-help skills and socialization.  Additional requirements for this position are: pass a criminal background check and have access to a car with acceptable driving record. Driving at least 3 years in the US.

LIFE SKILLS INSTRUCTOR/MENTOR

(Full or Part-time; Flex hours-7 days a week.  Various shifts available during the week and/or weekends may include overnights /early mornings)

Assist individuals living independently with basic self-help skills, house-keeping/meal preparation along with socialization activities.  Aid individuals with developmental disabilities with their basic self-help skills, and oversee and participate in basic housekeeping and meal preparation duties.  Additional requirements are: ability to pass a criminal background check; and have access to a car with acceptable driving record.
Driving at least 3 years in the US.

JOB COACH

(Part-time openings.  Flexible hours 7 days a week.  Flexibility needed depending on the work flow)

Provides instruction, coaching, assistance, support, and advocacy needed by individuals with developmental disabilities (consumers) to successfully work in a community job setting.  Additional requirements for this position are: Pass a background check. Have access to a car and an acceptable driving record.  Driving at least 3 years in the US.

TRAVEL TRAINER

This person will be responsible for one-on-one and small-group travel training and support to eligible Travel Training Program participants.  Training and instruction will include bus rules and regulations, appropriate public behavior, safety skills, and landmark identification.  Detailed record-keeping is necessary.  Experience with travel training and interacting with individuals with special needs or seniors required.  Travel trainers will not be required to have a driver license.  One full-time and one part-time position are available.
