Presented by Joanne D’Antonio and Jeannette Martinez of Green Light to Mobility, this workshop is designed to teach seniors (but all are welcome) about TAP cards and using the City’s public transportation system.  Handouts and maps will be provided.  Sign up for free field training to fun places on buses and trains.

Bring I.D. and be prepared to have photo taken if you want to apply for a free senior tap card (age 62+)  after the workshop.

Ruby Acedo will distribute LIFE coupons (July-Dec). LADOT will provide tap cards. LADOT will also load tap cards, including LIFE coupon passes.

Public transportation will be more accessibly routed, and service will be improved in Woodland Hills starting on June 24, 2018.  This workshop will explain the new transit set-up on the Orange Line, the Warner Center Shuttle, and bus lines: 150, 161, 164, 169, 245, 250.  We will bring new paper maps and also help you navigate these lines if you have a smart phone.

If you are eligible to have a reduced fare tap card, bring your photo ID and we will take your photo and application — Eligibility: senior (62+) or disabled (bring SSI award letter or DMV placard paper).
