Holiday Angels Toy Drive for Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles

The holidays bring so much joy along with a desire to give in the spirit of the season.  In the same way we like to give presents to others, our clients who came up with Holiday Angels feel the need to spread cheer, too.

And so it is that this year as in years past, New Horizons Holiday Angels, a group made up of clients from our Work Services Pathways and Community Learning Center programs, are having a toy drive for the children at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.

This year more than 4 large boxes of toys and books have been collected.  The final day to donate is December 18th, by dropping off a new toy or book at New Horizons’ Annex Bldg. located at 15725 Parthenia Street in North Hills, CA.

On Wednesday, December 19th, our clients will take the LA Metro Bus downtown to Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles where they hope to see some happy faces.

In the past our Holiday Angels have led the way in giving toys, food, pet supplies, and clothes to homeless teens.  Being able to give back is a sure way to feel included and to make others feel the same.
