A Message from JOHN C. BRAUER, M.A. President and CEO – Jan 2023
Happy New Year!
Dear Friends and Supporters,
With days like “Motivation and Inspiration Day (Jan. 2nd), “National Can-Do Day” (Jan. 4th) and “Take Your CEO to Lunch Day” (okay, made that one up!), a new year is a time to regroup, re-engage and to set the stage for the year ahead. We’re excited and ready to do just that!
As we look at the year ahead, we have many plans and ideas incubating. For example, we expect to launch our new pilot program, College to Career and More, by April of this year, followed by the launch of the second part of our Culinary Academy by this fall. In addition, we are on track for our six major goals as outlined in our Operations Plan, including expansion our employment services division by 15% (going from 500 individuals served to 575); increasing the number of Members served in our Community Living division by 15% as well; developing new, alternative housing options; creating a Master Plan for our seven-acre campus; exploring merger and acquisition opportunities; and enhancing our service options for individuals on the Autism Spectrum.
The new year is also a time to pause and say thank you for the support, wisdom and input over the past year. While we have much to celebrate, there is still much to be done, and we’re proud to have you on this road with us.
Cheers to another great year. I look forward to continuing our journey together as we strive to help each of our Members reach their goals and live fully integrated lives.
Best,
John
